How to HelpTo continue the extensive programme of the Waterford Healing Arts Trust, and to undertake the development of the premises of the Trust as a Centre for Arts and Health in Ireland, major funding is required. The Waterford Healing Arts Trust will raise this through private and corporate donations and continued government assistance. If you want to support the work of the Healing Arts Trust, please complete the attached Banker’s Order, instructing your bank to debit a donation from your account on a once off or repeated basis. Please return this Banker’s Order to the Waterford Healing Arts Trust, Waterford Regional Hospital, Dunmore Road, Waterford, not directly to your bank. Waterford Healing Arts Trust is approved for the Scheme of Tax Relief for Donations to Eligible Charities and other Approved Bodies under Section 848A Taxes Consolidation Act 1997. This means that the Trust can claim tax relief from the Revenue Commissioners on donations of €250 or more received from PAYE taxpayers. Self-assessed individuals and registered companies can receive tax relief on donations of Euro250 or more. For example, in the case of a corporation tax relief of 20%, the real cost of a company donation of Euro1000 is Euro800.
