We are delighted to present an exhibition of photographs by Geraldine Duffin at University Hospital Waterford (UHW) as part of the Staff Art Wall initiative. Entitled Hook Peninsula, this beautiful series of photographs features the coastal area around Hook Head, south County Wexford. The exhibition continues until 1 June. The Staff Art Wall is an initiative of Waterford Healing Arts Trust which aims to celebrate the creativity of HSE staff by providing an opportunity to display their work at the hospital.
A native of Wexford, Geraldine is a Health Care Assistant at UHW. She is passionate about photography and exploring Ireland’s stunning coastlines. Her camera is a constant companion on her road trips, always to hand to capture the moments she encounters. Speaking about her exhibition, Geraldine says “My favourite place to go to is Hook Lighthouse, which is home for me, as this is where I spent my childhood. I hope that everyone enjoys looking at my pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them”.
