“An oasis of calm”

‘The Open Studio provides us with the opportunity to express ourselves artistically in a warm, relaxing and welcoming environment… Our weekly session is fun with plenty of chat and laughs.’

Open Studio is a weekly art workshop which offers a creative and social outlet for people living in the community who may feel isolated due to ill-health or a disability.

Led by artist Jill Bouchier, with the assistance of volunteer Sarah Lee, the Open Studio offers participants the opportunity to work on art projects in a relaxed, inclusive setting. Materials are provided and no experience is necessary. The workshop takes place on Thursdays at our Centre for Arts + Health.

“I really love coming here. It’s a joyful oasis in my life”
